Neat 310 Linear Stage Motor Controller & Oriel Filter The 310M incorporates a high speed, 48 volt bipolar chopper output stage, capable of operating stepping motors at speeds over 60 revolutions/second (120,000 microsteps/second with the divide-by-10 drive and 600,000 with the divide-by-50 drive). The torque requirements of actual positioning stages will result: ** Speeds over 60 revolutions/second ** Built-in 24 bit encoder interface ** Front panel variable speed jog buttons The 310M features complete suppression of midrange resonance, a potentially serious source of stalling complaints in less advanced drives. The 310M can be programmed to automatically reduce motor current when idle. Motor phase currents are selectable, to 3.5 Amps/phase (half coil) or 7.0 amps/phase (full coil). Unless otherwise specified, the motor current will be set to 1.0 Amp/phase half coil (if ordered with a positioning table, the motor currents will be factory set to match the table).
