The MVS-2027 is a CE certified Machine Vision Strobe based on the same optical platform as the MVS-2020 and MVS-2060. With excellent lamp life and low flash-to-flash variation, these strobes have proven to be a reliable, maintenance-free light source for many industrial vision applications. The design is engineered in compliance with the latest CE directives for Emissions and Safety. Trigger and control inputs are identical to existing MVS-2020 and MVS-2060 strobes, to facilitate the transition to the new standards. The MVS-2027 produces short duration, high-intensity light pulses for a wide range of machined vision applications. The Xenon flashlamp provides bright, white light with minimal heating effects. When coupled to a CCD/CID camera, the strobe freezes motion, eliminates blur and enhances image quality. Packaged in a durable industrial enclosure with an interlock for safety. The strobes feature a universal 90-230 VAC (50-60 Hz) power supply with an IEC-type line cord output. A datasheet can be downloaded here. The fibre optic illuminator for this strobe is manufactured by Schott-Fostec. It splits into two, with each end having flat optics generating lines of illumination. The single line outputs are about 150mm long. The overall optic cable is about 1.5m long. |
