The cable consists of 4, 22 AWG, individually foil shielded pairs, with shield drain! This is the same high quality cable used by Pacific Scientific in their own products. Each pair is individually shielded! The drain is available to be terminated at the controller chassis or ground to control noise and crosstalk between motor windings, eliminating this potential for lost steps and inaccuracy. The motor end includes the proper locking connector, specified by Pacific Scientific for use on these motors. All conductors are stranded and tinned copper, making connections at the controller side a snap. All motor connector pins are connected with proper IDC tooling to ensure a tight connection, and then heatshrinked in one of six unique colors for easy connection without confusion! Connectors are rated at 4 amps/pin. Cable is PVC jacketed, 0.168" diameter and extremely flexible. The pairs are lightly twisted at 8 twists per foot, for low inductance and impedance.
