The reversible rotation motor is manufactured by Mamco Corp. Motor Div. To reverse shaft direction, simply swap the two wires, which can be done by a single double pole double throw (DPDT) relay. The frame is flat on one side (see the second picture on the left) which facilitates mounting it to a platform with a band. Overall dimensions: 6-5/8" LOA (including the shaft) x 3-1/4" Dia. The motor only length is 5-3/16". The worm shaft is 1-3/8" Long x 5/16" Diameter. Check the Grainger catalog for a shaft extension with set screws or an Arbor that should work nicely with this shaft. Don't let the Worm Shaft frighten you! The bottom sketch on the left depicts how an adapter (with a set screw or roll pin) can be fabricated, that slides over the worm shaft thus allowing you to drive wheels or what ever you have with the straight shaft portion of the adapter.
