YES, this tape is thicker than average and measures 2 Mil, not the 1.5 or thinner tape you normally see. This product has many uses form Artwork (stained glass artist, picture borders, doll houses, Miniatures, or a special tape on that once in a life gift) to industry, to Music (the back of pickguards & shielding cavities, eliminating electrical hum and noise.) and can be use on clear, non-opalescent glass and mirrors to match visible internal foil with soldered seams.
